Spring Cleaning and Bobbin Replacement

Here we have a couple of GE 83AD springs from a trac 2 brush holder.  The springs are dirty and the bobbins are unwound. Not enough spring pressure is one of the main causes of brush commutating problems.
We have taken off the bobbins and run the spring clips in our vibratory cleaning machine.
Here the 83AD spring bobbin is replaced and tagged with the date  and it is ready for use.  The stainless steel spring clip is reused and the cost is less than a new replacement.
